Revenge of the Smits

One of the things that I got for Christmas was Revenge of the Sith on DVD. Full screen, unfortunately, but it did come with this pretty cool collector's coin that, apparently, was only on a certain number of DVD's.

Anyway, I watched it Sunday and again on Monday and between the viewings, I checked out the deleted scenes. Man, Jimmy Smits and Natalie Portman had a lot of their major scenes left out of the final edit. Sure, they didn't really affect the movie, it was mainly a subplot sowing the seeds of what would become the rebellion in the future movies (you know, the ones released before the past movies… ah, skip it).

Still, all in all, it was a pretty good movie and a good way to wrap up the prequels.

I've been watching Smallville Season 4 and I have to admit that it's better than I remember. There were some really good episodes in Season 4 that, for me, kind of got lost in the whole Lana's-a-Witch/Kryptonian stones subplot that lasted the whole season. I only have a couple of episodes left and I'll probably finish those this weekend. Hopefully, Season 5 will continue this week…
